I am trying to find some of the noise fro the rear end of my 46 B. I am in the process of taking off the left axle. I removed the wheel and the final drive pan, bull gear, axle shaft, and am going to remove the long axle shaft and housing from the trans so I can inspect seals and brakes. My question is on the short axle shaft that the wheel mounts to the outer bearing is pressed on? that is my guess and I would like to inspect or replace the seals but I cannot get to them until this bearing is removed. Any tips or words of warning? thanks
