Basicly the same tire size options and wheel options were available on the later WD-9 and the SWD-9 so that is not a visual indicator. The disk brakes and IH on the front of the Super WD-9 vs band brakes and McCormick or McCormick Deering on the front of the grill of the WD-9 are the best visual indicators.
