No, it only stops snowing when it rains. We had a bit over three feet on the ground 3 weeks ago, then it melted down to about one foot and we got another 18" on top. Then we had several days in the 40s with rain and one with sun and everything melted. It got back below freezing on Friday and now we have close to a foot. In 2007 we got 12' in 2 weeks once, but it packed down so it was only about 5' deep on the ground when it was done. Zach
