Stan's Electric in Indianapolis (certified Delco) has converted 2 of my H generators from 6 volt to 12 volt. They will polarized either way for you. A conversion along with a new Delco 12 volt voltage regulator cost around $125. They do nice work. They even sand blast them, go through and fix anything and paint them red!!
