When I was a kid back in the early 1950's Saturday was always feed grinding day as I wasn't in school that day. In the winter we had some very cold weather in those days and zero and below was very common. The old 6 volt Farmall would always start but we would have to pull start the pick-up to haul grain from the storage buildings to the grinder room with it.
