Those look like the adapters that are sold to Ford Model T owners so they can use standard size spark plugs. Plugs for Model T s run form $5.00 to $25.00 each depending on how authentic you want your car. So standard size plugs in the same heat range are used to save money. That may be what happened to your tractor. You can use one of those adapters on a compression guage since they don t come with fittings for the large threads.
