IH parts system was such that R91 was advanced to 92 or 93 on & on, usually meant nothing but something to IH internally, importance was numbers before the R, they had series of numbers for parts in R1 to R99, later C1 to C99, it would take a lot of explanation for all the variances. I worked for IH-Case-IH-CNH in parts for dealer 47 years, all I would need to hear was 373966R and that told me what pump it was.
