I have a couple of 340's that we are overhauling and intend on doing the local antique pulls. One is a RC and the other is a wide front.
In the tractor pulling forum the consensus is that these tractors are nothing more then a C with more RPM. I must be off my rocker as I watch a 340 RC out pull 300's, M's, Cockshutt 30's every year.
What should I look out for when we tear down these tractors? T/A's are out on both of them. I'll be opening the motor on the row crop and while in there I'd like to do what I can to bump the power.
The C135 doesn't seem to have a lot of info about rebuilding or adding some more power.
