HY-tran will work fine, only if your seals are not already leaking, they will be. When hy-tran was put in my super H, it blew out all of my seals, because hydraulic oil is too thin, for a system that was designed to work with motor oil. I would suggest using 30 weight, as that what was originally called for. Only of course do NOT use detergent oil as it will foam. Also do not use this with modern day implements that take hydraulic oil. I have also heard of guys using 90 weight gear lube, with good sucess. only do not expect to be able to use this in any kind of cold weather, as it will be like molassas.
