My brother's potato digger was stolen from an open barn near the road a couple years ago. Since he didn't plant potatoes that year he didn't notice it missing until 8 months later. Asking the neighbors who was seen over there and we tracked it down and got it back. My brother made several modification that made it easy to spot from the road. It was left outside near the field where the thief had grown potatoes. It was obvious to us the guy was a thief, but the sheriff wouldn't do anything except help us get the digger back. He had a history of stealing firewood from my grandfather several years ago. The troll is still out there looking for free stuff so we keep everything locked down. Paranoia based on experience. Larry
