I agree, the TA if used and cared for correctly will last a long time. Dad bought a 350 new, and we used it hard (3-16 plow) and plowed about 75 percent of the time in low sode if TA. Abut the second year it started slippping a little so dad asked the dealer about it. he said to change the Hy-tran every year, which we hadn't done. no problems after that and it probably lasted 10 years before needing work on it. Years ago I worked for anIH dealer who traded in a 706 Diesel without a TA. Only TA-delete I have seen.
