I have cleaned just enough of these to cloud my memory on just which ones have screens and where they are. If you have chunks in the bowl then any screen on the tank side is probably shot. The last one I did had a screen between the bowl and the carb and I THINK it was at the gas connection to the carb. I would take the bowl and gasline off and look, clean any screens I found and then try it again before going into the carb. Others can tell you better.
