Thanks, I will proceed tomorrow. The filter is correctly installed and is the right one. I have prints for the hydraulics so I can locate the pipe for the steering supply. When the steering tightened up I thought we had suceeded and then the front tires started to move. But then we lost it again. I will revisit these methods again and check the oil level. I have o rings but they are thicker than the ones on the mcv valve do you know where I can find the correct ones? jh
