2-Way Hyd. Valve question.

I am sure that most of us are familiar with this
valve. (as used on SM's & SMTA's - etc) My
question is this: Has anyone ever successfully
rebuilt the shaft hole where the shaft goes
through the side? Since 1/2 of it is the cover
and the other half is the hole, it looks like a
tricky prospect to me. I must have half a dozen
of them hanging on the wall of the shop and all of
them are loose in the same way. Any suggestions,
guys?
