Dean, Jim Becker can be very helpful in determining when your tractor was made but not when vital information is a secret. He may have disassociated himself with this thread now with the insults but all he would need is the first three digits like 123XX to determine when your tractor was assembled. Jim has a lot of information to assimilate on letter series tractor production dates that is difficult for us to obtain. He is a very valuable assest to our IH community for historical information. He can probably date your tractor to at least within the month with the three digits noted above if you are worried about someone getting a free gas cap. You should read some of Jim's IHC articles in the bi-monthly Red Power Magazine as he has some very interesting historical data to share in every issue to my knowledge.
