The IH Farmall 450 was made 1956-1958. Rated rpm is 1450, 4 1/8" bore, 5 1/4 stroke, compression ratio is 17.45 to 1, cu.in. is 281, dbr h.p. is 46.18, belt h.p. is 50.77. The diesel motor was started on gas then switched over to diesel. I have never seen one with a pony motor. The Farmall 504 was made 1961-1968. Rated rpm is 2200. 3 3/8" X 4 1/4" bore & stroke, compr. ratio is 7.7 to 1, cu.in. is 152.1, dbr h.p. is 41.30, pto h.p. is 46.20. Hope this helps. Both are good tractors.
