Bought a block and crank for my 460 gas was suppose to be a c221. Got it home cleaned it up turned out to be a C 263 from a early 706.The bore is the same. Question can I put my c221 connecting rods and pistons in it?I was told you can not put a c221 oil pump in a C263? Did some checking -- The connecting rods are same camshaft same, head same, valves same push rods same, Piston rings are different 3/16" c221 1/4" c263 is that the only difference? is the pin location same? will the C221 piston with a C263 crank making proper compression? Will it fill the hole? Will my C221 Distrubitor work? Fly wheel? Thanks!!!!!!
