Its the generators soft iron field poles that get Polarized but it takes a longgggggggg time of setting before it looses its Polarity and such dont matter if theres a battery in the tractor or not while she sets stored. Sounds like shes charging fine and nothing is required, but it dont hurt to polarize one if in doubt after long idle storage periods. Its after a genny has been in the shop you want to polarize cuz you dont know if or what polarity she got polarized at the shop??
