I purchased a 1967 656 diesel and have a few questions i could use some help with answers. First, What is the differences between the 656 and the 656 Hydro? Second, Does the TA just reduce ground speed or does it actually change gearing. Third, The old tractor has a loader with a trip bucket. It kinda resembles a 1701 in appearance but I cannot find any identfying info on the loader other than it is the same color red as tractor. Any ideas on what it might? Lastly, Do most owners purchase the cat II arms and top link or do they do a more extensive conversion to 3pt. I hope these questions are not to elementary but this is my first trip to the world of Farmall.
