Ditto to what Scotty and Tyler said. I have a BN that smokes a bit on start up, and as soon as it warms up, no more smoke. In addition to worn valve guides, sticky rings can also cause the same behavior.
However, I fully agree the other's that if things are as you state, you are good to go. Just check the oil at each startup to make sure you are up full.
