Thanks for the replies, and it is as I expected. Any wide mouth pint is fine, and if you want to be "correct", Ball Special.
It was interesting to find that the Ball jar company was not allow to make wide mouth jars during WWII. I am still scratching my head a bit as to why. The article may be BS, but if true, it did not go into the details on why the US placed the ban.
