all three ports are pressure supply's. the hydraulics are set up as a one way system. pulling the control rod all the way back toward you gives up pressure. centering the rod is the "hold" position. all the way in is the "down position. the 3 ports were for a mounted cultivator. a delay valve was used on the rear culitvatorso it would drop in the ground after the front set, so you didnt tear out the headlands. same for the up function. when you reached the end of the row, you raised the cultivator, the front came up first, the the rears came up shortly after. teh clutch must be out for the hydraulics to work.
