A little more fight and I finally got it off....turning it the other way. I really had that sucker tightened up after a day of fighting with it. What a knucklehead! I also know why ScottyHOMEy likes his wrenches that are graduated in 32's. I never used a 31/32" wrench before this but it was invaluable. Thanks Grandpa for passing down the old tools and thanks everyone for the help, ya'll are great.
