Farmall 240

I own a Farmall 240. I am curious about an item that I have noticed about my tractor. The exhaust on it goes down. The exhaust goes up on every picture that I have seen of the Farmall 240. I have an owners manual showing the Farmall 240 and the International 240 Utility. It shows the Farmall exhaust going up and the International going down. Does anyone have an idea why this might be? Hoping it might be one of those "one of a kind things."
