There should be two grease zerks on the left side of the pump near the engine block. One greases the two ball bearings that carry the fan assemble and the other greases the pump drive shaft. The one that greases the shaft will take less than a full stroke on your grease gun to get enough grease. Any more after it gets hard to pump will force grease into the engine coolant. If you overgrease the other one it will come out behind the fan blade.
