what you said about the overflow valve makes sense.. unfortunately ..this is not good news.
because ...the radiator definitely gets empty..
i had to pour 1 1/2 coolant containers into the radiator to fill it back up .... ad if i do not ..it starts making this steamy noise after a while it is running...and all the fluid is gone..
now i did run the tractor i 95 degree weather..maybe that's why ...but if that little hose leak is robably not the problem then it could be another leak in the radiator ...I guess i will find out. i am fixing it on saturday and running it on sunday.. will let you know. thanx for your help.
