I am restoring my McCormick-Deering 22-36 and have decided to put rubber on my full steel wheels, rather than return the wheels to spade lugs and skid rings. I am attaching am image of my newly-painted wheel and images of how various persons have applied their rubber. I am asking this: Where is the source of the rubber material? I would imagine I would go to a tire shop and inquire and perhaps to a shop that does retreads. Any help or advice is welcomed. Also, do any of you have any estimate of cost?
