You need to see if there's fire to your sparkplugs. Pull off a plug wire and hold it about 1/4" away from the plug have someone make an attempt to start the engine. If you don't have fire to your plugs clean the points. You didn't post whether you have a mag or distributor. If you have a distributor you check for battery voltage at your coil. With the points open and your ignition switch in the on position you should have battery voltage on both small terminals on the coil. Use a volt meter or test lite and if there's no voltage present run a separate wire from the battery to your coil then see if the engine will start. A magneto doesn't require battery voltage. If it starts you have a wiring problem from the ignition switch to your coil. Could be you're not getting battery voltage to your switch. Use your volt meter to check it out. Hal
