If the flywheel stays attached to the engine can you still see and get to the the freeze plugs? How big are they and what are they made of? Similar to auto engine plugs thin with clips that pop in to hole? or heavier like cast iron and maybe driven in? Is this repair fairly easy? Is there a picture of the back end of engine showing the plugs? Can somebody post one?
