If I rmember correctly, you can still do this through the PTO hole - you just have to have the tractor jacked up so you can slide the wheel and axle out once you remove the bolt on the end of the bull gear. Then the whole axle can slide out. As mentioned above, putting the bull gear back on through the hole is the big trick!! MIKE
