I do wish we were closer. But thanks for the reply. This tractor should be coming home in the morning. Tonight I tried to read the i.d. plate under the seat and it read something like: 1A 1AA 130891 which tells me, from TractorData, it's a 1945.
It came from our little town's street dept where it was equipped with a rotary broom sweeper, all of which is still on it. Odd looking setup. I'll have to see where I can post pictures of it.
I doubt the sweeper set up is any use for me; pretty husky and obviously commercially made. Not sure who would want one.
The tractor sat for a year or so and is stuck. So I guess I'll squirt some ATF/diesel blend into the spark plug holes and wait a bit. Not sure what else will help. I know it ran not that long ago.
