They don't even ask because they know there's a limited market for that stuff, and they can't make money on it...
...and I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but it just doesn't seem to be registering with people that just because THEY love antique tractors, the show has to cater to their interests.
IIRC it was the short bearded dude that fell in love with the Studebaker. I think that was for his own personal collection. Plus, cars hold a much wider appeal than old tractors, AND restoring antique cars can be profitable.
Now what would be cool is if RFD would come up with something similar. Call it "Fencerow Pickers" and follow tractor collectors around on their searches.
What would be even cooler is if Time Warner would give me RFD channel for free. Right now it's a "premium HD" channel, and it's like $5 extra a month... No thanks, when 90% of it is watching bulls trot across the screen with "things" flopping about...
