I overhauled several of these in the last couple years and had the same problem. I think these were Clevite kits. When I contacted tech service they told me they had a batch of sleeves which didn't have the bottom of the sleeve outside chamfered, and this sharp edge cuts the oring. They were right. In both instances the orings were cut. They recommened chamfering vthe sleeve O D and reinstalling with new orings. Hard lesson learned.
