i have a super h that broke the front bolster shaft. the only place i could find a replacment was herschel adams. the only part i can tell is differant is the large part below the thrust bearing. the old one looked to be beveled, with a beveled spacer to match. the new one has no bevel, so i left the spacer out. problem is that the gear on the top will not tighten down on the shaft, it tightens to the housing first. has anyone had this problem? my plan was to just snug the nut and not tighten it unless someone out there knows what to do!!
