Well there you go, it is indeed an "R" suffix, and the IPTO I located is all the way across the country. Sounds like there's quite a few internal pieces needed to drive that critter, is it a fairly easy install/replacement, or would you have to break it apart? The parts would be available off the donor tractor, but the price could be prohibitive if it's a big job to pull them. Sure would be sweet for mowing, as I wanted to get away from the tranny-driven PTO on my 8N. I really like the tractor, spunky-sounding little critter and not too beat up, and it came reeel cheeep- if it had power steering and IPTO, it would be very sweet
