I run my TA at times all day long with my 1486 pulling a round hay baler sometimes up and down steep hills. I have the TA in low before going down hills and don't shift it into low going down to slow down the tractor. I usually bale in low 4 TA in high, high 1 TA in low or high 1 TA in high and in rough ground low 4 TA in low. I like having a TA the extra gears in between gears. I was always been told it does not hurt to run it in low all day long. Done it for years with no problems.
