Not sure why the pictures come out with an orange hue. The paint is definitely red. The cabinet in the background is also red if that helps. I took the pictures with my camera phone so the quality is pretty poor. I need to get new rechargeable batteries for my good digital camera. Anyway..
I used VanSickle epoxy primer from Shoppers Supply and VanSickle Gloss Case I.H. Red 455 70 and applied two coats with an HVLP gun.
I did not use any hardener. I've read too many horror stories of people damaging their lungs from that. I did use Xylo to reduce the paint and wore a good respirator with replaceable activated carbon cartridges.
