It is more than a metal button. It is a brass button with a stylized "S" embossed on it. If you cannot reproduce that, I would just as soon go to the local lawnmower shop and get the Chinese plastic piece. A chromed metal button would be just as bad as the plastic button and a big disappointment when opening up the UPS delivered package. The other problem is the die-cast spring housing that mounts on the mag. I would assume that, in most cases, the cable disappeared at the same time the mag attachment was removed from the mag. Are you planing to reproduce that as well?
