Search the forum for 'countershaft nut' or 'countershaft nut removal' and it should come up. I changed mine last winter. You need to drain the oil or park on an incline so it doesn't run out. I did it by putting the tractor in 5th gear with the engine off and the brakes on and wheels blocked. Then I put a 24" crescent wrench on the pump drive shaft, against the cotter pins so it would grip and it came loose. It unscrews in the normal right hand direction as I recall. Zach
