Just to confirm, I can simply remove the newer style PTO assembly that I installed years ago with the splined countershaft, and just slide in the old style smaller PTO assembly? There are no issues with the countershaft in the trans matching up with the old style splined shaft? Does this shaft that you have, have the mounting flange? If not, that's ok since I still have the original one from my '40 H.
