marvin, I had a H that ran fine and all of a sudden it would not turn over. After taking everything apart, similar to what you did, I found one of those steel alignment pins that go in the casting to align it with another casting had been left in or came loose and wedged between the flywheel and the flywheel housing locking it up. After getting that out all was fine. doesn't really sound like that is what you have but offered for information. Good luck. Post the answer when you find it. RON
