thats the way i was thinkin pete. to me following firing order makes more sense to be more exact due to way lobes are. i am not bashing your way bob as i haved used both and prefer following firing order. and yes i have manuals, but some things just stick with a person.i know i dont have to look in a book to set valves and they are done right bob. lots of mech. look in the book and still make a mistake. some people are mech. minded some not. and the way i look at it if your studying the book constantly then you dont know what your doin.
