Drain plug is on right bottom of xmission. It takes a 1/2" square socket drive (the male end) and is easy to find under the seat and plarform. The fill plug is the recessed square plug on top of the xmission, just in front of the gear shift. The level plug is on the left side of xmission, 2nd nut toward the front along the bottom of the fender, and toward the front of the xmission. Think its a 1/2" nut. Have to get to the inside of the tire to take it out. Capacity is 5 qts when equipped with a PTO, otherwise 4 qts.
Manual calls for hi-tran but most think 80-90 gear lube works better, including me. If you keep a capped 4" diam piece of PVC pipe over the gear shift lever it will keep rain water out. Look for a milky color in the drained oil to see if water is a problem.
