My dad has an 856 and a 1086 with a dt414 in it .The 856 has the fuel pump on the right side and the 1086 has the fuel pump on the left the 1086 uses a cable for a throttle but you may be able to get a throttle linkage off a 966 or 1066 and adapt it to run on the left side . Also the lower radiator hose is on the right for the dt414 and the left for 856. You might be able to get a radiator from a 966 or 1066 to use. the 86 series had the filler cap off set to the right, idont remember if the 66 series had an off set filler cap or center filler. If you had a cheap rad. man maybe he could switch tanks or just drill a hole in the hood. The oil sump holds 4 gallons on the 856 and the 1086 holds 5 gallons so i dont know if the pan will interfer with the front steering linkage . hope this helps Donald
