I found an outfit that had a pair of used bands for just under $300. Well, hell. I already have a pair of used bands in the tractor that aren't costing me anything! After talking to a couple of places, I came home and took another look. I think I had adjusted both bands to tight? So the brake band was holding back the drive. Backed adjustment screws off and put it back together. PTO turns when engaged and stops when disengaged. It used to creep when disengaged. This weekend I 'll hook her up to something and see if it was just my screw up.
