The pulley will fit. I'm not sure about the gear ratio, it may be different between the C and A which means the pulley speed may be slightly different. Just be sure when you get the pulley unit that you also get the gear that goes on the tractor shaft. If your C did not have a pulley originally, there may not be a gear on that shaft and if the gear is different between the A and C, it would not work anyway. The shaft that the gear goes on is the same between the A and C. I took a pulley unit off a C and put it on my 1946 Hebard Shop mule.
