Take the mag off your tractor, Pull the magnet off the mag , Take the two top screws out of your mag , flip over and pull the bottom two. Take the cover off the top of mag. Inspect the coil and give a smell, if the coil looks like it has been hot and smells like it was hot , it`s time to change out the coil.
