Sounds like you are talking about the D-310 engine. I was thinking all the 756 models had the later style thermostat but apparently the early ones may have had same one used on the 706 which I am going to assume is no longer available. Can't tell by the parts book on line. If you could find a junker 715 combine with that engine you may be in bussiness to get the later style set up off of it to convert your tractor. Cotton pickers also may have what you need, not familiar with them. Thermostat itself should not be a problem with later setup it is the hardware changes. Of course, 826 etc also should work.
