If your old gear was # 6760DA you probably won't see any difference in the gears. They did make the DB gear for a tighter fit on the camshaft and recomended the camshaft be supported when installing the gear. Rusty answered the other question, 6760DB was the only gear sold for replacement by IH for M to 450 tractors for a lot of years. Don't know who's making there gears now, may be the same one the aftermarket companies are selling.
