I did that. Nothing metal came out, just oil and sludge. It does not sound like something is grinding the gears, but more like something is hitting a rotating part. It speeds up and slows down with the engine, does not make any noise when in neutral. It only happens when in gear and I let out the clutch. Once it starts, it does not go away when I push in the clutch. It quiets down only when I shift back to neutral.
